Lovely and ethically run husky farm! Me and my cousin were visiting Levi for some snowboarding and chilling. We wanted some program in nature outside the touristy center of Levi and so we opted for husky safari. After conducting some research and comparison, we ended up booking 5km husky safari from Tundra Huskies with a transfer between Levi.
We were very lucky in many respects. As it was already the end of March, the temperature was climbing up and the season was reaching its end. We managed to book time for the last husky ride of the spring and it was only me and my cousin in addition to two other people (in high season there can apparently be even 100 visitors per day!). Because of this, we had no rush at all and could take our time in peace on safari, sausage grilling and petting the dogs.
First, we were given instructions how to ride the sledge and about safety precautions to protect both us and the doggies. Then we moved on to the husky safari. It was very exciting experience and something completely different! We were also lucky enough to have an excellent weather for the last day of the season with both sun and good surface for the sledges.
After the safari, we grilled sausages and warmed our selves a bit. We moved to pet and feed their reindeer. After that, it was time to meet the huskies, which was very warm and cuddly experience. The dogs had clearly been treated well and their owners' behavior was also reflecting true care for them. This was important for us as we had read about some other husky farms around Scandinavia having a bit dodgy ethics, which we wouldn't want to support.
So, overall a great experience and highly recommended!!

Wonderful Huskies Ride with great owners / team We had a wonderful experience with Tundra Huskies. They came recommended by our Airbnb host. The ride with the huskies was awesome; followed by snacks and lots of information about the huskies and the area. We then spent some time playing and petting the huskies and learning more about them. The owners/team actually took the time to chat with everyone and answered any questions we had. You can tell that the huskies are a big part of their family and also can tell that they are genuine in what they do. Wonderful team.
Definitely recommended.

Brilliant trip and beautiful huskies. Brilliant afternoon with the huskies. We got to drive them which was not scary at all and afterwards lots of cuddles and hugs. They're well looked after and cared for. Such beautiful animals.

Well organised tour, scenic route and well cared for dogs Great company, well organised and the dogs are clearly well cared for. All staff were friendly and helpful, they gave clear instructions and are knowledgeable about the dogs.
We took the option of including transport, the pick up point was very easy to find and the vans were on time.
We were organised into suitable groups for the sledding. My 12 year old went with a staff member and 2 other kids, she was happy with this. My 10 year old and I went on a sledge together and my husband drove. There is the chance to swap driver part way through.
The route was stunning, partly through forest then over a frozen lake.
Afterwards we warmed up by the fire and had sausages (veggie option available) and warm juice. We also got to feed the resident reindeer.
Once both groups had been sledging and the dogs were calmer, we were able to meet all the dogs and had plenty of time with them. Staff were there to answer questions and take photos.
Did you know all of our huskies are Arctic pure breed Siberian Huskies. That means they can easily handle up to -50°Celsius. *Thick Double Coats *Uniquely structured paws that act like natural snowshoes *Almond-shaped Eyes with eyelashes to helps reduce exposure to the cold wind *Curved fluffy tail for warmth and comfort *Small, fur-covered ears to minimise heat loss *Efficient metabolism supports energy needs in cold
And most important, welfare which means professional daily care of huskies by knowing their needs ❤️🐺
